On Call, Without Pay 

Millions of workers start each week not knowing when they will work or how much they will earn. Ending DACA Means Widespread Economic Harm 

The repeal of DACA will place extreme hardship and burden on the American economy. According to analysis by the Center for American Progress, rescinding DACA would result in an estimated loss of $460.3 billion from the national GDP over the next decade. Ending DACA would also remove an estimated 685,000 workers from the nation’s economy over the next two years. Click here to view our blog post.

High-Quality Early Learning and Care Drives Lifelong Success

We released a report that underscores the important role that high-quality, universal pre-K plays in meeting the needs of working families and setting all children on the path to succeed. Unfortunately, high-quality programs are out of reach for many American families—half of preschool-aged children are not enrolled in formal education. It is critical that all working families have access to high-quality pre-K. The report can be found here.


Cassidy-Graham: Same Failed Republican Ideas 

Like past iterations, the Cassidy-Graham bill will increase costs and kicks millions of Americans off their health care. The bill ends Medicaid expansion, premium tax credits, and cost-sharing reduction payments, all of which help millions of Americans afford health care. In its place, the bill offers an arbitrary, short-term block grant funding with no guarantee on how states will use funding. Click here to read the blog post.
